DAP draft rate up by Rs50 per bag

AZHAR ALI KHAN

Fertilizer companies have sent shockwaves across the flood-affected farmers of the country when they raised Di-Ammonium Phosphate (DAP) draft rate by Rs50 per bag.
Dealers said that the companies have jacked up DAP prices by Rs50 and it is now being sold to the dealers at the rate of Rs2,656 a sack.
Farmers representative bodies have strongly condemned the recent hike in the DAP prices, saying that this hike would badly hit the flood-affected farmers.
